Mindfulness with Cath - Allowing the flow

It is Day 17 of my 21 Mindfulness Inspirations and I'm excited you are reading this today. I hope you take a few minutes to do the meditation and give yourself a mindful break.

Flow is about trusting the process of life and allowing yourself to be carried by its natural rhythms. It’s finding ease in the present moment and knowing that you don’t have to have everything figured out to keep moving forward.

Mindfulness Meditation:

Find a comfortable position, sitting or lying down. Close your eyes and take a deep breath, feeling your body supported by the chair or floor beneath you. With each inhale, imagine gathering any tension or worry. With each exhale, feel the weight of those worries leaving your body, allowing yourself to sink deeper into the support beneath you.

Now, picture yourself floating gently in a calm river. The water holds you effortlessly, carrying you along at a steady, gentle pace. You don’t need to paddle or steer; the river knows where it’s going. As you float, remind yourself that it’s okay to let go and trust the process.

Stay here for a few breaths, feeling the sensation of being supported and carried. When you’re ready, slowly open your eyes, bringing this sense of ease and trust with you into your day.
