Large sized loofah sponges. Approx 12-15cm length. 
 
Do you use or have you heard of loofahs? They come from a plant - cucumber family I think! The loofah/luffa sponge is the natural fibre inside the shell once it matures. It is natural, can be used for months, is compostable after use and can be used as a body sponge or a kitchen or bathroom sponge.
 
You just need to make sure that you regularly sanitise it (soak in vinegar and baking soda overnight then rinse thoroughly - sometimes I add a couple of drops of lemon essential oil) and dry it out in the sun so bacteria does not build up in between use.
 
Ditch any plastic sponges and try these out! You can also use the sponge to put your soap or shampoo bar on 😊 instead of a soap dish. There are also some synthetic loofahs available out there so check the one you get is the real deal 😊
